Track

The North Lafayette Elementary track team consists of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students who practice to compete in 3 meets throughout the year. Students will try out for the team, and those on it will practice once a week. The track meets take place at the end of March and into the beginning of April. At these meets, students compete against other schools and have a chance at earning a ribbon for their place in the heat. Being a part of the track team allows students to stay physically active, be challenged, and make friends with students from other grade levels.
