Track
The North LaFayette Elementary track team is made up of 3, 4, and 5th grade students. These students try-out each February for the team. After tryouts, students participate in practices once a week. These are fun filled practices where students have the chance to get to know other kids outside of their grade level. They also have the chance to learn how to stay physically fit. The track team also competes in 3 meets each year. These meets happen at the end of March and into April. At these meets, athletes have the chance to earn ribbons for their place in the heat. It is a fun and exciting time for the runners, parents, and coaches.
